Here are some frequently asked questions to help you understand my approach and offerings better.
What is Conscious Parenting?
Conscious parenting invites parents to raise their own consciousness before raising their child or addressing their own inner child. During this process, parents recognize their own patterns from childhood, often disguised as feelings of “my child triggered me” or “he/she triggered me.” Conscious parenting will reveal your behavioral and emotional patterns that manifest in your intimate relationships, with your children, at work, with family, and in all areas of your life.
What is the Difference Between Coaching and Therapy?
While both approaches overlap, there are key differences:
- In conscious coaching, we engage in inner child work, exploring childhood to address present-day issues.
- Psychotherapists are trained to work with clients diagnosed with a mental illness.
- A good coach acts as a guide, accompanying the client in the process with the goal of empowering the client to become independent, whole, and self-empowered.
How Many Sessions Will I Need?
Everyone is on their own journey and has their own pace of growth. You will know how you feel as you progress and will decide what resonates with you. Generally, a minimum of 6 – 12 sessions is recommended. Some patterns took years to establish, and regular practice is required to undo them. My goal is to provide you with the tools to help yourself.
